Direct Computer Control Coordinate Measuring Machine. A device used to measure the physical geometric characteristics of an object. The CMM compares a part or assembly to the design specifications, precisely recording X, Y, and Z coordinates. DCC CMMs can be programmed to automatically measure identical parts.
The removal of excess material or 'burrs' from a workpiece. B&B has 30 deburring workstations for conventional deburring, tumble deburring, polishing, peening and blasting operations. Our deburring employees are among the best in the industry and are able to support complex internal fluid passages, cosmetic details and consistent finishes. Deburring is an art and our personnel are trained to inspect and refine parts to the most minute detail.
