Our in-house, environmentally controlled calibration laboratory is capable of performing onsite calibration of most measuring equipment. This minimizes the impact to our manufacturing group as most calibrations can be completed within one hour.  Other manufacturing companies often need to bring in outside contractors for calibration, resulting in longer down-time and fewer calibration checks.

We have a calibration team which has been certified to calibration methodologies by 3rd party organizations to ensure we maintain our services to the latest standards available. Our calibration system is compliant to AS9000, ISO10012-1 and ANSI/NCSL Z540.3, and all our standards are traceable to the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST).

Our laser-based Universal Length Measuring system (ULM) has been developed by Pratt & Whitney for gage calibration laboratories that need to precisely measure length, outside diameter, inside diameter, pitch diameter, lead, major/minor diameter, taper, linear displacement, and thickness.

High accuracy is maintained by its laser interferometer, Zero Abbe offset design, and large measuring table with center position, height, pitch, and yaw controls and instrument uncertainty of only 2 millionths of an inch (50 nanometers).

The ULM includes Pratt & Whitney’s GageCal software that automatically enters tolerances for rings, plugs, pins, balls, threads (calculates pitch/major diameter) and flags out of tolerance conditions.
